ITINERARY
DAY 1 - THE IMPERIAL HOTEL, LLANDUDNO
Check in at the Imperial Hotel. Elegantly Victorian, the Imperial Hotel is situated on the promenade in the beautiful resort of Llandudno, with lovely views of the bay, making the ideal base for golfing in North Wales.

DAY 2 - CONWY GOLF CLUB
Conwy has given its name to a river, a mountain, a magnificent castle and a championship links golf course that played a distinctive role in two World Wars. It has played a major role in championship golf ever since, the quality of its challenge matched by a spectacular setting between mountain, river and sea.

DAY 3 - NEFYN & DISTRICT GOLF CLUB
Nefyn is quite unique. Apart from having a pub two thirds of the way around the course, the views are exceptional and the course itself is very fair. Arguably the best holes are 11 to 18 which are situated on a headland, often referred to as playing golf on an aircraft carrier.

DAY 4 - NON GOLFING DAY
A day perhaps to venture into the glorious surroundings of the Snowdonia National Park.

DAY 5 - ROYAL ST DAVID'S GOLF CLUB
Royal St David's is rightly regarded by many as the finest course in Wales. Only twice do successive holes proceed in the same direction so the wind invariably spreads trouble as you negotiate your away around the holes. Although not long, the course has been described by professionals as the world's toughest par 69.

DAY 6 - LLANDUDNO (NORTH WALES) GOLF CLUB
Llandudno (North Wales) is one of the oldest courses on Wales' northern coastline. North Wales offers its biggest challenge to those golfers blessed with a hook for its front nine runs out alongside the railway line and the back nine returns along the coast.

DAY 7 - PRESTATYN GOLF CLUB
Another of the unspoilt links courses which line the Welsh coastline, Prestatyn has been a favourite with top golfers because it has several particularly challenging holes. Exposed to both the westerly and the north-westerly winds, the links also present players with the problem of the Prestatyn Gutter, a deep and wide draining ditch that comes into play on six of the holes.
