ITINERARY
DAY 1 - ABERGELE GOLF CLUB
The Abergele course sits at the foot of Gwyrch Castle and exudes wonderful views of the town itself and beyond. There are plenty of exciting holes on this beautiful layout, especially the par threes which enjoy magnificent backdrops. Eye-catching and challenging, this is a 'must play' during any visit to Wales. Having completed your round, check in at the Kinmel Hotel. The present building has undergone many changes over the years being transformed from an estate managers house, part of which dates from 1570, into a first class friendly hotel, whilst retaining much of its history and association with Kinmel Estate.
Overnight at the Kinmel Hotel, Abergele
DAY 2 - PRESTATYN GOLF CLUB
Another of the unspoilt links courses which line the Welsh coastline. Prestatyn has been a favourite with top golfers because it has several particularly challenging holes. Exposed to both the westerly and the north-westerly winds, the links also present players with the problem of the Prestatyn Gutter, a deep and wide draining ditch that comes into play on six of the holes.
Overnight at the Kinmel Hotel, Abergele
DAY 3 - LLANDUDNO (NORTH WALES) GOLF CLUB
Llandudno (North Wales) is one of the oldest courses on Wales' northern coastline. North Wales offers its biggest challenge to those golfers blessed with a hook for its front nine runs out alongside the railway line and the back nine returns along the coast.
Overnight at the Kinmel Hotel, Abergele
DAY 4 - PADESWOOD & BUCKLEY GOLF CLUB
Padeswood & Buckley Golf Club enjoys a magnificent location in the Clwydian's rolling countryside with picturesque view of the village of Padeswood and beyond. Towering, colourful trees which add a great deal of character to your round, and also a touch of difficulty, as they border the vast majority of holes. A super conclusion to your itinerary.
