Caerphilly Golf Club
Given that the address of this course is 'Pencapel Mountain Road', you probably won't be surprised to hear that it is a touch on the hilly side. However, don't let that put you off as it is also a very rewarding course.
It offers some nice views and you will certainly know if you are hitting the ball straight as accuracy is vital on a layout which measures just under 5,900 metres and has a par of 71. The par-3s in particular will test your accuracy to the limit as the greens are all fairly well guarded by bunkers.
Societies are welcome here and the clubhouse offers an excellent selection of food.
