Criccieth Golf Club
Criccieth is one of those courses where nature is left to its own devices. In its early days the course was nothing but a farmers field yet constant dedication by the members and years of hard work, have helped turn it into one of the best golf courses in the region with the added handicap of sheep on the fairways!
This pleasant hilltop parklands course gently undulates along the high ground offering stunning views of the Lleyn Peninsular, Cardigan Bay and across to the mountains of Snowdonia.
The 15th hole, with its green some 75 feet above you, is a quite stunning hole. Indeed, reach the green in two and you've done very well. The next is another great hole; a par three that's barely 100 yards in length with its green 100 feet below you!
