Chirk Golf Club
Chirk Golf Club has been designed to offer outstanding championship-standard facilities in idyllic rural setting. Overlooked by the National Trust's Chirk Castle, it features two superb courses set in 200 acres of rural countryside.
The 18 hole championship course is designed to challenge everyone from the novice to the seasoned expert. Blending with the area's natural beauty, it is characterised by testing fairway bunkers and water hazards including lakes and streams. Playing its 9th hole is a truly remarkable golfing experience. At 664 yards, this fearsome par 5 is one of the longest holes in Europe.
The Championship course has won acclaim for its fairness and flexibility, which can play as short as 5,757 yards or, for the really ambitious, as long as 7,281 yards.
