'Eat, Drink, Sleep' it says on the sign outside the Griffin. Such a plain and simple exhortation doesn't really do justice to what awaits within this country inn with a difference. 'Eat' - hearty pub and grub with a sophisticated menu and good value for money. 'Drink' along with eating, takes place in the most amenable of surroundings. The 'Sleeping' side also has a decidedly contemporary feel, notwithstanding the four poster beds.
